OFFICE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION<\/strong><\/span>
ABOUT US<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

The Office of Continuing Education is Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology\u2019s administrative unit for essentially delivering non-credit courses, but we also offer courses for college credit through our College for non-traditional students seeking a degree. More specifically, our unit is designed to meet identifiable community needs in lifelong learning and professional development by providing educational opportunities for all qualifying individuals.<\/p>

Our Office of Continuing Education has a long history of success that is consistent with the University\u2019s overall strategic plan and our overall goals are:<\/p>

To offer a suite of high quality continuing education programs that provides certification and licensure in high demand fields.
To be responsive to the needs of our community by offering enrichment and recreational programs that support principles of lifelong learning.

<\/p>

We continue to unify our rich teaching resources, provide professors and professional service teams. We also provide further education for citizens, and handles master’s credit classes various commissioned training courses, community college and workshops, etc. In addition, we accept the needs of various agencies, organizations and enterprises, and tailor-made education and training courses. Looking forward to connecting the needs of industry-university cooperation and local and regional characteristics, we are committed to becoming the best learning environment for talent cultivation in Taichung.<\/p>

WHAT DO WE OFFER?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

Our programs are largely a response to what we believe represents what you tell us you need to advance your career or just to get on in life. We therefore offer both regular college credit courses and courses that qualify for continuing education. Our new certificate programs will offer participants learning experiences that are targeted at ensuring that they bring about meaningful career advancement or opportunities for transitioning to new and exciting careers. Our continuing education offerings provide a vehicle for members of the communities we serve to pursue their lifelong learning goals through targeted programs, courses, workshops, and special events.<\/p>

ABOUT US<\/strong><\/span>
Welcome to Taichung Hou-Yi Community College, it was established in April 2016 and operated by Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Our service area is in the east and south districts of Taichung City. We make friends with the local people sincerely. Through the platform of our college, they can cultivate their civic qualities, understand the local culture, and participate in public affairs actively. They hope to move towards the ideal of cultural governance in the east and south districts, so that the people in this district can study happily and grow in our college. It also can improve their modern civic quality and ability to participate in public affairs, and assist the sustainable development of civil society, localities and communities, and implement local cultural governance and lifelong learning.<\/p>
